Sgt. Peppers Jazzclub

A building with a past, a present but certainly also a future. From fortified tower to bustling Cultural Center, for centuries a role in the lives of Enkhuizers has been recorded for the Drom.
The cultural center offers a diverse program in the form of musical evenings, theater and cabaret performances, children’s theater and various festivals. Be it the annual performance of the Drommedaris theater group or an evening of laughter at stand-up comedians, swinging jazz sessions or smartlappen music.

The Post Office (located in Bovenkarspel)
Hét Postkantoor is located in a monumental building and is in a great location in the heart of the municipality of Stede Broec (Bovenkarspel) in Westfriesland. Hét Postkantoor is suitable for many purposes such as theater performances, film screenings, closing of marriages and various meetings.
The original building, an old post office, has been preserved and completely renovated. In this part of the new building, activities of Social Cultural Center ‘t Stadsplein take place. The new part includes a beautiful theater, a wedding hall and a cooking studio. For more information on theater or film program and opening hours, please visit the website.
The film program of The Post Office is announced each month on our website and Facebook page. Tickets are easily purchased online or at the box office.

Cinema Enkhuizen, to the movies!
In Enkhuizen’s striking Drommedaris, you’ll find Cinema Enkhuizen on the second floor.
Cinema Enkhuizen shows a current film no less than seven times a week in its own cinema hall. These are children’s screenings, afternoon screenings and a premiere film on Thursdays and Fridays. The offerings range from movie house films to current major productions.
The Drommedaris is easily accessible from the parking lot behind the NS station, the walking distance is about five minutes. On the ground and second floor of the Drommedaris there is a catering facility. Unfortunately, this is only open to a limited extent, so it is not possible to make use of it before or after every film screening.

Sgt. Peppers Jazz Club
The Sgt. Peppers Jazz Club hosts music concerts. National and international jazz formations will then perform for you. This year even several double concerts will be organized. The club is also engaged in organizing workshops. The club has its own Jazz Walk of Fame and presents the Award each year to the best rated performing band.
