Car and parking
In the city center of Enkhuizen, you can park conveniently and for free within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and many facilities and institutions.
Short parking
Short-term parking is available in blue zones with a parking disc. The maximum parking time in blue zones is three hours. These zones are indicated by signs and blue markings. In the parking lot at Albert Heijn (Molenweg), you can park for a maximum of 2 hours with a blue parking disc. A parking disc is required from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. After 8:00 PM and on Sundays (except shopping Sundays), you can park anywhere in the city center without a parking disc or permit.
Long parking
At the train station and at Dirck Chinaplein, you can park for an unlimited time without a parking disc or permit.
Campers
Enkhuizen no longer has public camper parking spots. Campers can find accommodation at the campsites in Enkhuizen and the surrounding area.
Parking ticket for the disabled
Vehicle holders with a valid disabled parking permit may park for free in the permit holders' area in Enkhuizen. Please note the following conditions: On roads where parking is prohibited by (zone) signs or a yellow broken line, you may park for a maximum of three hours. In addition to your disabled parking permit, you must display a blue parking disc indicating your time of arrival. Outside of marked parking spaces in residential areas indicated by signs, you may also park for a maximum of three hours using a blue parking disc to indicate your arrival time. In areas and parking lots where the use of a parking disc is mandatory (blue zones), vehicles with a disabled parking permit may park without using a parking disc and for an unlimited time.
Licensees
In the permit zone, you can only park with a parking permit from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Residents of the city center can apply for temporary visitor parking permits (scratch cards) for their guests, valid for five hours.permits for inner-city residents, for businesses (also from outside Enkhuizen's inner city) and for caregivers (also from outside Enkhuizen's inner city). Inner-city residents can apply for visitor parking permits for their visitors. These so-called scratch cards are valid for five hours.
Parking on Sunday
On Sunday (excluding shopping Sundays), you can park anywhere in the city center without needing a parking disc or permit.
