Parking for disabled persons

Holders of a vehicle with a valid disabled parking card are allowed to park for free in the permit holders’ area in Enkhuizen. This applies to both residents of the municipality and visitors.

Parking on roads
You may park for a maximum of three hours on roads where a parking prohibition applies, indicated by a (zone) sign or a yellow broken line. In such cases, you must use a parking disc to indicate your arrival time.

Outside of designated parking bays in residential areas indicated by signs, you may also park for a maximum of three hours. Here too, you must use a parking disc showing your arrival time. On roads where the use of a parking disc is mandatory (disc parking zones), you may park without a parking disc. For disabled persons, there is no restriction on the parking duration in these zones.

Parking in parking lots
In areas where a parking disc is required, you may park without using a parking disc. Vehicles with a disabled parking card may park here without time restrictions.

For information and to apply for disabled parking cards and spaces, you can contact the municipality.
