Would you like to see Enkhuizen from the water? Book a guided canal trip! You will be sailing around the canals of Enkhuizen in about an hour. Our experienced guides will tell you all about the history of Enkhuizen and the monumental buildings you will see along the way.

Enjoy a pleasant and beautiful cruise through the picturesque harbors of Enkhuizen. During the cruise of 1.5 hours, the skipper will tell you beautiful stories about Enkhuizen. You can also enjoy a snack and/or drink of your choice. In consultation, this can be provided by Herberg De Compagnie.

Although much has changed in the West Frisian landscape since the land consolidation, elements can still be found that are characteristic of the development of the area.

In addition to the beautiful IJsselmeer, Enkhuizen has many easily navigable inland waterways. After cruising the city’s atmospheric canals, you can continue on to the West Frisian inland waterways. Here you sail through the vast polder landscape and beautiful nature reserves.
Outside Enkhuizen, in the hinterland, there are several opportunities to rent a boat.
At Rijo Boat Rental you can rent open polder boats with an outboard motor and canoes. You can then enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the polder by yourself. Rijo’s base is Lutjebroek, a great starting point for a trip through Het Grootslag polder or De Weelen nature reserve.
