HSV Ons Genoegen
At fishing club HSV Ons Genoegen in Enkhuizen you can fish in its own water of about four hectares. You can fish for carp, pike, whitefish, zander, perch and sunfish. You can find HSV Ons Genoegen on the extension of the Witte Hert in Enkhuizen.
Visput Andijk
What you can do at the Fish Pit is obvious, fish of course! Open from morning one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset, during the opening season. The Fish Well is also accessible to wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility.

The Streekbos offers many and extensive recreational opportunities: swimming in the swimming lake, lazing on the beach, biking and hiking. There is also a beautiful fishing place that is also accessible to the disabled.

Scattered through Westfriesland are the sites of the Recreation Board. On the website you will find all information about hiking, cycling, swimming, boating, fishing and kite surfing. The Streekbos
The Streekbos offers many and extensive recreational opportunities: swimming in the swimming lake, lazing on the beach, cycling and hiking. For cyclists, the Streekbos is part of the bicycle route network. There are several hiking trails on (semi-)paved and unpaved paths. The LAW Groot-Frieslandpad runs through the Streekbos.
The Vooroever
Outer dike recreation area that extends to Andijk. The Vooroever is an elongated contiguous recreation and nature area of about 144 hectares with beach, water sports, walking and cycling possibilities. It is located along the IJsselmeer coast between Medemblik and Andijk. The area lends itself well to a brisk walk along the shores of the IJsselmeer.

If you are a fishing enthusiast, the IJsselmeer is the place to be. You can fish for carp, bream and pike-perch. Fishing is also possible in the city’s harbors and in the city center under certain conditions.
Prefer quiet angling in ditches and lakes? Choose a cottage on boating and fishing waters. Or rent a boat and sail to the perfect spot.
There is something for every novice or experienced angler in this wetland area! However, you do need a valid fishing license. So what does the VISpas precisely?
– With the VISpas and accompanying List of Fishing Waters you can fish in all waters mentioned in these lists. You can fish with 2 rods and all permitted types of bait.
– You receive 1 pass as proof that you are a member of an association, the federation and Sportvisserij Nederland.
– In this way you help to ensure good control, fish stock management and the organization of competitions.
– You are a member of Sportvisserij Nederland and thus contribute to the interests of the Dutch angler.
Unfortunately it is not possible to fish with 1 document in the whole country. This has to do with ownership situations. At each association of which you are a member you get a VISpas. But only at 1 of those associations you have to pay the national contribution. The VISpas is available at various locations in the municipality and costs € 27.50.
– The installation of feeding sites is not permitted.
– It is strictly forbidden to fish for predatory fish (fishing with artificial lures, pieces of fish or live bait).
– Any fish caught must be put back immediately, with the exception of eel.
– You may not leave your rod unattended.
– When fishing for carp, an unhooking mat is mandatory.
