Hiking in spring
In Enkhuizen and the surrounding area, you can take lovely walks. You can choose from fun and unusual town walks and special city walks, such as Mooi Enkhuizen or the Rare street names route. But you can also enjoy beautiful walking routes in the Enkhuizen area.

The walking network of Recreatieschap Westfriesland offers many options. The walking network consists of starting points from which you can start different rounds. So you can put together your own walking route!
Nature trail
In the Streekbos you can enjoy walking in every season. Walk the Natuurpad in the Ecoproject of the Streekbos and be surprised by the rich, varied nature and great biodiversity. We recommend you put on boots or sturdy walking shoes, especially in wet periods.
After hiking, you can get a fresh coffee or hot chocolate at IJgenweis Eten & Drinken.
IVN Spring Walks

Cycling along the bulbs
In spring, the bulb fields are in beautiful bloom. This bicycle route from route.nl takes you past the tulip fields of Westfriesland and through characteristic towns such as Venhuizen, Hoogkarspel and historic Enkhuizen, where the route begins.
