The partly new board of the Oranjevereniging Enkhuizen has made every effort to put together another festive program for all Enkhuizen residents and visitors for this King’s Day.

Nice to know: the Orange Association hopes to celebrate its 100th anniversary next year.

Round of Handwater

1-4:30 p.m.

Rondje Handvastwater is a household name in Enkhuizen and surroundings. A well-attended and free play-fest for young and old. Have the time of your life on the Twist Ladder, Red Bull, Water Roller and Dragon Run. Or would you rather play a game of Blow Football? And who will be Enkhuizen’s strongest? Measure your strength with the XL and junior Kop van Jut.

Rondje Handvastwater will be bustling with energy again this year thanks to the unbridled efforts of, among others, the neighbors, Scouting group Mercury, Youth Fire Brigade Enkhuizen, Toneelgroep TGD, Kaatje Stip, Sika’s Super Smooth Schmink, Bottle up & Go, Schermclub Enkhuizen, SIGI (Cintura), the Samba Gang, Peter the Organ Man, Kidzdance ESC and the many volunteers!

Zuiderzee Museum

Visit the Zuiderzee Museum on King’s Day at a free market price of 10 euro p.p.*.

After a tour of the local free market, come to the Outdoor Museum, where children will have a blast at one of the many activities. Do experiments in the Water Lab, have fun in the revamped Expedition Waterworks or make a clog boat together.

Live music with KoninG

12.00 – 20.00 hours

Eatery Dikke Mik has again arranged live music on the Dike for this King’s Day: the band KoninG will play the greatest hits from Dutch pop history. That will be a great party!

Regal delicacies

Discover regal treats from Chocolaterie and Patisserie Aurélie, specially made to make your King’s Day even more festive. From tasty orange macarons to regal royal balls and delectable red-white-and-blue creations.

Royal enjoyment

During King’s Day you can join the Eendracht in van Bleiswijk from 10 a.m. for a hearty breakfast to last you the rest of the day. And of course you are also welcome for coffee and orange toast, lunch and dinner. Come along and toast the king! Weather permitting you can sit out on the terrace, otherwise there are plenty of seats inside.
