Want to see Enkhuizen from the water? Book a tour led by a guide! You will be guided around the canals of Enkhuizen in about an hour. Our experienced guides will tell you everything about the history of Enkhuizen and the monumental buildings you will encounter along the way.

Enjoy a pleasant and beautiful boat trip through the picturesque harbors of Enkhuizen. During the 1.5-hour trip, the skipper tells beautiful stories about Enkhuizen. You can also enjoy a snack and/or drink of your choice. This can be arranged by Herberg De Compagnie in consultation.

Would you like to take a boat through the ports of Enkhuizen? During the holiday season there is an hourly departure from 12:00. The cost of a harbor tour is €10 per person, including a drink. Current information can be found on the Van Stek Watersport website.

Historical Navigation Chart

For centuries, West Frisian farmers and horticulturists sailed every day with their barges through the ditches to their scattered fields. Although much has changed in the West Frisian landscape since the land consolidation, elements that are characteristic of the development of the area can still be found.

Motorboat or sloop

At Rijo Bootverhuur you can rent open polder boats with an outboard motor and canoes. You can then enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility of the polder yourself. Rijo's base is Lutjebroek, an excellent starting point for a trip through the Het Grootslag polder or the De Weelen nature reserve.
