Swimming Pool de Weid

At Zwembad De Weid there are three pools in which you can splash around. Swim laps in the large pool or enjoy yourself in the recreational or toddler pool.

The swimming pool was officially opened in 1990 and was built to replace the old open-air swimming pool ‘Flipper’ at the Kleingouw. Swimming pool De Weid is open every year during the summer season from the end of April until the second week of September.

In 2013, the management of the swimming pool was transferred to ‘Stichting Vrienden van De Weid’ and since then it has been run 95% by volunteers. An enthusiastic team of volunteers is ready for you at the cash register, takes care of the maintenance of the entire terrain and the swimming pools, takes care of press releases and our social media, helps with special activities such as disco swimming and much more.
