Visitor center Hertenkamp Enkhuizen
The Hertenkamp Enkhuizen visitor centre is located in a unique location on the edge of the city of Enkhuizen and the IJsselmeer.
In the middle of the Wilhelminaplantsoen, a green oasis for young and old. The center houses the beautiful petting zoo (‘Syngentahoeve’) and a beautiful Nature Environment and Education (NME) center.
The adjacent native garden is unique, with a large range of ‘wild’ plants, which gives extra attention to biodiversity. Activities are regularly organised for young and old.
In the conservatory you can enjoy a cup of coffee/tea while enjoying the view of the animals in the deer meadow and the petting zoo, the walkers along the Groene Wierdijk, and the large horse chestnut on the square.
