Summer opening of the Westerkerk Enkhuizen

On June 3, it’s time again: the supervisors are ready to welcome visitors to the Westerkerk. We hope for a large turnout again – last year we welcomed around 18,000 visitors!

The main reason for a visit is of course the church itself, with its impressive organ, the choir screen (although packed in June), the pulpit, the gravestones, the Librije and many other special details.

In addition, there are plenty of extras to experience:

– From June 3 to 22, the photo exhibition of Fotoclub Enkhuizen-De Streek can be admired in honor of their 50th anniversary, combined with sculptures by Elly Reus. The opening hours are from Tuesday to Saturday from 13:30 to 17:00.

– From June 11 to 14, the exhibition Enkhuizen That’s Jazz will also take place, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Jazz Festival.

-From July 8 to September 14, there will be a special exhibition in honor of 400 years of Paulus Potter – we ask for a little more patience, but it will be spectacular!

Just like previous years, there will also be a successful second-hand book market throughout the entire period and organ concerts on a number of Sundays and Thursdays, check the agenda for that!
