Annah Posthumius and Poppea Prenen present a unique concert in which they perform a special mix of classical and pop. This special performance takes place on Saturday 28 December, including food and drinks.

The daughters

Poppea (23, Amsterdam) grew up with classical music, studied jazz at the Amsterdam Conservatory and is now a student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London where she explores different corners of music, such as songwriting, soul, choir singing, gospel and folk. Her rich influences resonate in her own compositions. Today you will hear how her compositions started; with only vocals and piano before a band comes along. Let yourself be taken on a journey of moving stories, sharp lyrics and surprising harmonies.

Annah (25, Enkhuizen) started playing the violin at the age of 8 and was admitted to the Sweelinck Academy, the Young Talent department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam, in 2016. In addition to classical music, Annah has also delved into other genres, including pop, folk, film music, rock and jazz. In 2023, Annah graduated from the Conservatory of Utrecht. She now lives in Seoul, South Korea, where she will start her master’s degree at the Korea National University of Arts in March 2025.
