Discover the magic of Enkhuizen in winter. The narrow streets and canals of Enkhuizen most closely resemble a print by Anton Pieck at this time of year. Take a nice walk and finish with a hot chocolate, with or without a dash of goodies….

2. The Station: in such a place and with such friendly staff your chocolate milk tastes extra good.

3. Rijksmagazijn: treat yourself to a beautiful view (over the harbor) with your hot chocolate.

5. IJgenweis Streekbos: after a winter walk through the Streekbos you can warm up here.

Walking in Enkhuizen

Enkhuizen and its surroundings are also particularly popular with walkers in winter.

Enkhuizers like to take a walk across the Vest and along the wall; that’s a round trip of about 6 kilometers.

De Boerenhoek is a special part of Enkhuizen where you can wander past canals and authentic cheese-cover farmhouses. It is located slightly outside the center and is therefore still undiscovered and wonderfully quiet. Go for a walk and taste the atmosphere of this special part of Enkhuizen!
